What a Difference $50 and 12 minutes makesSo the Frog was running like a POS as most of you have seen. I took it ot Allan's and we went over it with his meters. Turns out that the wires were breaking down and should be replaced. After a little rip to AMW and back to my place, she is Running great, well on the trailer anyway. This weekend will be the test as to how she does on the trails. I was actually pleasantly suprised that it reved out so well after just that little bit. Now it is time to swap out the Fuel cell and get the rear winch in place.

did you test them with a multimeter?? or a special mechanic tool??

His meter has an attachement that allows you to test the wires while they are being fired. Also put it on the Coil wire and that is why I knew it was find. I could have used my meter to test the resistance per foot idea, but his actually lets you know what it happening in a real world situation.

yeah i wanted to know if there was a better tool than a multi meter for doing it.. especially something while the truck is running!

My meters have an inductive pick-up that allow me to watch the kv and hz . The resistance per foot test works well but i like to see what's happening as it happens .

LMFAO your car is in so many pieces at the moment it is not funny. Eric and Hunter got ahold of Allans tools and well, after seeing him scrap a few cars, they just assumed junk in the driveway was supposed to come apart.

LMAO mine has doors and all other parts were removed on Purpose. BTW I could use the Frog and see how long it takes to make the Mustang closer to scrap then the Frog HAHAHAHA! OH Hell I could never hurt a 5.0L Fox Body, I would feel bad, well for a second anyway.

yes the wires will make it run better BUT IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A SPEEDO CABLE IN IT. the V.S.S {vehicle speed sensor} will make it run rich. so it will never run perficted with out the speedo cable

Hey Steeve, why are you yelling at me, FAWK it has had no speedo or O2 for as long as it has been set up with the 1.6L I am not worried about it now. It runs great with the tune up.
