Tricity Jeep clubToday I finally met with this guy who lives across from my folks in Cambridge. His name is Terry and his wife is Chris both seemed like very nice people of the typical wheelin sort (if there is such a thing). Trying to get info on where to wheel in that area and found that mostly they do club events and almost live in the Minton area for the summer. Next weekend Terry is having a BBQ in his back yard for the club and was clearing a path to a very impressive hole about 200 feet from the back of his house. He was also just about to cut down a large dead tree and put an RTI on the side of it. He told me that a few guys from their club run the canal the odd time when they are camping in Sherkston. Anyway he boasted of many interesting runs all around Perry Sound and the Mintion area. I checked out his rig and it seemed like a very trail worthy beast. Looks like a Commander or newer style Libby there as well. Nice XJ, it looks like it can handle some trails. I would love to do a road trip, that sounds like some fun wheelin people indeed. |
