toy drive charity run!november 29th is the only day available to get the hall i have it booked at no cost to us.dinner will be provided just like last year at the 15 bucks a head for adults less for kids(ill iron that out shortly) rob wells the president of the lions is already arranging to have a few local papers there like last year and santas helps is already in the making to take all toy and cash donations what time in the am do we wanna start 11am? |

any toy is better than no toy last year i dropped like 30 bucks at liquidation world and got a shit load! also colouring books and crayons if anyone needs ideas | ||

This is an awesome opertunity for our wheelin' community to give back to the entire local comunity.It reflects positively on us, but more important than that, it helps alot of kids have a Christmas that they would otherwise miss out on.The turn out last year was awesome and the donations collected were impressive...but I would love to see last years charity run pale by comparison to this years. So everyone should plan well in advance to have the day open to particapate, and spread the word to everyone you know with offroad capabilty to come join in. This truly is a good cause, and a hell of alot of fun.
P.S. And don't worry about Mudbug.....we have already explained to him that toys purchased at "The 6 and 9 Shop" are not acceptable. |

anything is better than nothing man cash donations are also accepted if all ya got is a buck thats a buck some kid didnt have! hit the dollar store grab colour books crayons some cheap ass toys ill also take donations for the lions food drive if that helps some of that non parishable food items that have been in your cupboards forever would also be greatly appreciated |

Are donations tax deductible? We could try and get some outside donations and if so is there some way we could publisize businesses that might donate as incentive?
Could we do a pledge sheet of some kind? |

i can pickup your toys again for you I have 6 bikes 2 quads 2 trucks and a couple big diesel trucks that want to do some light wheeling so consider us in ... only thing im worried about the guys on the bikes and quads because of it being end of nov pretty chilly. |

end of november, if its a fluke warmish day ill be out on the quad but i dont know how i feel about doing 100 kph with icey wind blowing in my face, lol. so i think i might jsut lightly wheel the exploder that day

I just talked to my Brother-in-law (and good buddy) he's willing to do some video for us and editing. He has a professional quality camera and is real handy with the editing. I was thinking that maybe we could put together a nice video and put in on cd. Then we could get people to sponsor us and offer them the cd for their donation...... Just an idea what do you think? | ||

Never have had a problem why start now, if you get a no then the whole thing will have to be cancelled. The seaway would most likely say no becuase they do not want to cover the liability or have to deal with a possible lawsuit. |

Actually..... Rob asked for use of the property several months ago and the only area that showed some promise was the Charity Run. It could be a big mistake to have a run down there and have everyone get tickets...... not to mention asking and getting permission could be a foot in the door. | ||
