Snorkel pieces.Got my snorkel pieces today, just need a small flat plate of non-extruded plate and the fabrication can begin.
A little squashing to ovalize it, some cutting , chopping and welding.
$64.00 in parts vs $345.00 for a bought piece.
Need it in time for gopher dunes.

I'm going to build a wooden mold to evenly ovalize the tubing this weekend, then aneal the tubing and press it semi-ovalish. I wanted to get moving on a cardboard template last night but the freezing rain kinda soaked the cardboard real quick into a mushy mess, hopefully today I can get it made and fit then start on the aluminum pieces.
I'll post pics of the progress.
