Rusty nut not going to buge?I learned a sweet trick last year when I was doing the 2" body lift on my tracker........I had a problem with the body mount nuts being in realy ruff shape and was only able to get one nut off
I used a propane torch and I could get the nut to turn a bit at a time but it was realy tight and made that horable creeeek creeeeek sound.......and then I remembered reading somewhere on the net about heating the nut with a torch and then rubing a candle or any wax all over the nut and bolt.so.I try it and to my amazment it worked like a charm I was able to take all the nuts off with no problem
Don't take my word for it find a stuburn nut and give it a try!
And if you break a bolt off in something just carefully weld a nut to the broken piece and let it cool for a min. and 9 out of 10 times the broken bolt will come rite out ( unless corrie welded it then the nut will just fall off )
