Rusty BoltsI'm trying to get a rusty bolt off, but i can't get it to move at all. I tried liquid wrench and a blow torch and unscuccessful both times. I've been using a socket i don't have an impact gun. Any other suggestions on getting this bolt off? Oh ya it's the bolt that holds the gas tank strap on.

Did you try the wax trick ? just heat the sucker up good and hot and stick some wax on it from a candle or something and let it cool a bit and give her a try. It realy has worked well for me almost every time I try it.

Alright ill try that but, did you use a impact gun, socket or wrench afterwards to take the bolt off?

Hit it with a big hammer then put an impact on it if you cannot get one, get a Big ass pipe and put it on the end of the ratchet.

I just used a rachet and it came apart no problem at all and it was sick tight before I tryed the wax.

Do what I do, threaten to take it and put it in the press, they cooperate after that!
