Rant Time....So I ordered some Bonz-eye Springs from Trail Tough Aug 1st they use UPS to ship..I shouldn't have to say anymore but 14 days later I'm still waiting for my springs...... Go onto the UPS site to track my packages it states 1 package in Hamilton out on delivery Aug 12th stayed home waiting nothing the other is in Winsor. My cell rings at 5:30pm to tell me they couldn't get to my house cause of constrution in front of my house (although they delivered to the house next door the day before and the morning of the 12th) So I tell them to just leave the package at the depot by my place....7:30am the next day I'm waiting at the door to pick up the package , she goes to the back and brings out a box the size of my fist , WTF those aren't my springs???? Oh it's my free t-shirt.........no springs. WTF where are my F$%King springs oh call this 1-800 # they will help you OK Fast forward to today over at the depot again still nothing call the 1-800 # again "we have to start a trace" "could be in the lost and found" WTF 55 lbs springs lost (2 pairs front and back)......starting too get very angry....so here I sit waiting waiting waiting So now I have to call Trail Tough and let them know I don't have my packages and see what happens... AND WHY IS UPS SOOOOOOO EXPENSIVE TO SHIP WITH????? I'll keep ya's updated....GRRRRRR Rant off for now... |

UPS SUcks ass, Trail Tough will look after you, but if it is in shipping, there is not much that they can do. UPS has huge brokerage fees, it is discusting. | ||

There is a company in the states, that you can ship to as well, I cannot recall the name, I will see what I can find you. Whne you order it goes there and then you go bring it across and no brokerage fees, worst case you pay the Taxes, but you are getting hit with that with UPS either way. | ||

UPS said it can take up to 8-10 days to trace the package (and I have 2 missing) then they contact the seller and set something up with them..... The problem I have is my rig is taking up space at the shop ....... |

you can get stuff shipped directly to UPS's depo in buffalo they will hold it for 10days for yout o pick it up you bring it over the boreder and bam no brokerage or just ship USPS and they have no brokerage | ||

I'm telling you shipping in general is getting worse all the time.... Last week I took it in the hoop because shipping didn't come though on 3 different jobs I was working on ...... spent all day trying to figure where stuff was and ended up getting payed for 1 3/4 hrs when I should have had 8 easy. | ||

you shoulda told me you wanted to ship, i would gave you the # for the company i work for and get the discount, i get a 25% cut on anything i need shiped or picked up and shiped to me, so this spring place you coulda told them to ship with our company and you woulda had it 3 days or less depended on where it was coming from. | ||

Live and Learn guys.... I am going to get it shipped to the UPS depot next time I just don't believe that the amount of money it cost to ship with them you'd figure they wouldn't treat you like your package is worth nothing..
I just want to reach through the phone but it's not the people taking the calls.... One good thing at lease the people at UPS all speak ENGLISH... Don't get me started on dealing with Dell customer service!!!!! |

see the reson why its starting to cost so much is the fuel prices and now that the prices have come down a little there not fix there fuel surcharges like they should be. when i first start our fuel surcharge was like 12% of a LTL, but now i have seen on our sheets fuel has gone up to alomost 50%. and if you wanna save some money getting something from the border, tell your shipper or ask them if they can put a D.C.V as low as possable... reson is after so many dollers thats how they make there money. and losing your shit... well now there just fucking dumb lol... | ||

if you can ship it via manitoulin transports, or try epic express... epic takes a day longer then manitoulin but epic is cheep... VERY cheep... and chance's are ill be the one taking down your trees to get to your house lmfao | ||

Well it's official ......UPS confirmed today that after 8 solid day/nights of searching for my 2 packages (YES TWO 55 POUND PACKAGES) are not to be found.
Some lucky basturd has a nice new set of springs.... So I made the call to Trail Tough and they had alreay sent me two new sets on Monday..... fingers crossed they actually show up sometimes this week or early next week......

UPDATENo thats not them I ordered the Bonezeye Springs.....Update..........The shipper has resent my springs as of this past Monday (I wish they would have told me cause I would have had them ship them over night at UPS expense) (or they should have done it anyhow to keep a customer happy) but now they are SUPPOSE to arrive September 4 2008 ....remember I ordered and had them shipped August 1st 2008......wow a whole month plus , I told UPS last night I could have driven out west to pick them up my self.......... The battle still goes on........ |

Well Canada UPS wasn't open last night so I called the international UPS and yelled at some American chick, its funny she said I must in in some kind of remote area as to why I'm having so much trouble.....She said she didn't know the distance between Hamilton and Fredrecton I kinda told her its like New York to Florida....Oh My she said... 
None the less she told me that as long as the packages are moving/being scanned they are not lost.... More updates............. Sunday September 14th I say the same thing but I power wash the crap out of it after at the truck wash by my place and this power wand pretty much will take your paint off if you hit it the wrong way..... The last one they had had over 400 rigs of all shapes and sizes...we have a blast when we go I bring the BBQ and eat half way through the day they also have a power wash truck on site to wash it off before you leave or to clean your rad of a couple of buck of course |

I just talked to ups and was told that the only way you can pick up at the depot in the us is if first you have a legit address. Second an attempt has to be made to deliver the package to that address and if its not successfull then you may request that it be held for pickup at the depot.... sounds like alot of bs and time to me. | ||

Ok... just got my shipment from Northridge. The brokerage fees from ups were $67. When I consider having to spend probably 30 to 40 in gas plus toll and having to deal with customs not to mention a couple of hrs of my time thats a deal.... | ||

When you ship to a PO you do not have to deal with customs, just pick up your stuff, declare it and pay the Duties then go home | ||

when you declare something, you are dealing with customs. My stuff was all made in the USA so there where no duties. However our boys always make sure to get their hands on the taxes and thats what the brokerage fee is for. I'm sure if you add up your cost for going over to pick some thing up it would be not that far off. I am sure that your time is valuable too, wouldn't you rather be spending it with your boys or wheelin.
Also I don't have a PO box to send something too. |

I've been told after the fact mind you to get it shipped to the UPS depot in Niagara Falls New York, it is just over the boarder.
They hold it for something like 5 days so you have more than enough time to get over and get it. I'd have to talk to the fellow who did this to get the full scoop, but he purchased all his parts for his 66 Mustang had them delivered to the UPS depot and went over to pick it up... didn't have any of the hassle I've went through with my springs. |
