I guess I'm newI figured I would sign up here (again since the last time I did something happened to my account and it seems I was deleted before even having a chance to post)
some know me as Apuszczalowski from other boards, and I have known many of the members here for a while

What do you think?
I guess I'm a little closer to a running rig, I have a motor almost built, just need a timing chain and get the rest of the seals and gaskets to finish it. The cost has been alot more then I was planning, but I think I will be much happier with this motor when i can pass it off to the insurance company as a stock motor. Right now I have been trying to pay off Bills and stuff before I put more money into the Jeep. I'm hoping to have more funds around end of July/Early August to try to atleast get it back on the road running, then I will work on putting the tires and lift on it once its been safetied and has plates
Taking a closer look at the body, I'm probably going to replace the tub since it will probably cost me the same amount to fix the rot right, then just replacing the tub.
I don't know what happened to the original user name, but I could not log in after a couple days of signing up, so I never signed in, just lurked for a while, and then noticed it must have been deleted during the cleanup

I do not remember deleting you, but I will say one thing, you and I have no love lost between us and if you start your BS games here you will be gone in a second. Other than that welcome aboard and if you need help finding a tub let me know I will see what I can find you.

Yeah, I'm used to these Lovers spats. I think one of the top things on my list of things I would gouge my eyes out if I ever say is 2 bald guys rubbing aloe anywhere on each other.
Mike - I'm dying just seeing my Jeep sitting on my Driveway, I'm not even thinking about getting it muddy yet, I just want to hear it run again. And its only been 30 years, How old do you think I am?

Have you looked at an Axle and other driveline component upgrade to handle the extra power.

not at the moment, I still have an 8.8 for the rear in the garage that may go in it eventually. For now I'm just keeping it stock to get it on the road and driveable, upgrades come later

The 8.8 will work well, but keep an eye out for the 44 front out of a Rubi and grab one if you get a chance.
