how the F*** does this happen?okay i was driving home from the beach yesterday and i heard this horrible noise when i turned down under the tunnel. it was like a really bad grinding noise. kept driving to the lights and tryed to stop again and it sounded worse so i pulled into the closest spot. i put it in drive and creeped foward with the brakes and asked my girlfriend what wheel was the noise coming from she said the back driver side. so i jacked it off and took off the wheel and figured it was a loose drum or something so put it all back together and tryed again. this time i looked to see what tire it was and the front driver side was locking up. started to take it off but the last nut was waaayyy to tight and stripped that one tire iron i had out on the trail the other day. called my dad to bring one he got there and took the tire off and when he pulled it off the brake caliper came with it. soooo somehow the bolts that were holding them in came off.
piece of shit jeep.

ok i didn't really jack it off then that was later with your mother but yeah probably the guy i bought the jeep off of about 3 months ago.

ya with that kit we had no need to take them off ,do ya need new bolts i know i got some kicking around

Sounds like they worked their way lose, I would get some spares and get them in there well.

Don't forget you've got a problem with your rear shackle mount on the passenger side.....Man you should really consider if its worth driving that thing on the road with all the problems your having. Its not worth dying for.

dad needs a lift and i need the axle. unless thats broke to.
what was that clunking in the back end? you blow a shock or what.
after sunday do u get that visious jeep shake after 100?

nope no shake hit 140 on the way home ans shes fine. selling it is a good idea however im getting my moneys worth out of that lift kit so no less than 2 grand. and that noise was a loose shackle bolt.
