Hello! n00b From Pt. Col.Hello all! I'm Mike and I'm from Port Colborne. I just picked up an '03 Xterra, 5-Speed & Supercharged. It took me a while to find sites for local clubs. I used to dirt bike/mountain bike as a kid behind the Portal Village, Robin Hood and along the canal, but I know one of the canal access roads are blocked off, as well since then cops have gotten quads which I would believe to catch those "trespassing", like those who used to ride around the train tracks.
I know my Xterra is stock, but I'd like to think it should be farily capable in stock form, so I'ld like to learn techniques before doing any upgrades, as well as what's game and where not to go.
Looks like you guys are pretty active. I see alot of videos posted on YouTube. I look forward to coming out and getting off the pavement.

heh, how convinient. I may just stop by, but it depends. I've had the thing for not even 2 days and I have the interior torn apart. I'm in the midst of putting in my Pioneer 7900BT deck and my old Cobra CB that I used to have in the Mx-3 in it, but it's equipped with the "deluxe" Rockford Fosgate system, so I'm wiring the speaker off the stock amp and to run off the deck instead, but to keep the stock sub to run off the stock amp using the pre-outs from the deck as the source. It's not hard, just tedious since the sub gets it's source from the rear speakers, basically spliced from it, so I'll be running my own wires from the amp to the sub and keep the rears on the stock harness. I just forgot Canadian Tire closed at 6 (got there at 6:30) so I'm missing some wires and some screws.
Cool. Ya, it's on the list. I think the only real option is the ARB lockers. I just don't know what's involved hardware-wise, but it's on the list, the short list or the long list I'm not sure yet.
Supercharger is nice, although I haven't tested it's capability, cause it's not fast, so but has alot of torque tho. Not the best on gas either, but that's not why I got it
I've got "Hey Look At Me!" Solar Yellow. Not the color I wanted, but it was equipped with what I wanted (it's damn hard to find a 5-speed supercharged, they're almost all auto), and it's just a color. I do like the yellow, I just don't like on how much it stands out, no matter.

Well the evening was nice so i decided to take a boot. I found you can still get behind Robin Hood from the Hydac access road. Been a very long time since I was behind there, was quite fun. I'll have to go back, there's a few nice places for some pictures back there.
