12 mile creekDriving though St. Kits this afternoon I suddenly remembered a small access road that came onto the east side of the 12 mile creek, I could not resist. It was an easy drive down the trail with not much excitement. I went from about Eastchester to Glenridge. There where plenty of spots that looked like they could be fun but I was by myself yet again.... I had a flood of memories of being a young punk causing trouble down there in the summers. If I remember correctly there are some better spots with flats and washouts between glenridge and the bottom of brock........LOL the mountain bikers didn't care too much for my big red jeep bombing down their trails. I did not see one sign posted about trespassing.

Hummmmmmmmmmmmmmm, I recall putting a 4" nail into the fluid sack in my knee on a search down there, but never thought of wheeling it. Nothing that I recall was all that challenging, but hey always worth another look.

hey now, dont go ruining the mountain bikers trails. i ride out there and if i have to avoid ruts from trucks im gonna be pissed. i say we just go and wheel where people ride horses, those big bastards ruin the paths as it is so lets make it more challangng for them

Horses are harder on the trails then the trucks I agree, but the last thing I want to do is drive down a trail and spook a horse and hurt a rider. That will not get us any points in the public eye. I am not sure how wise it would be to wheel in the middle of town either.

8x12 is a race, its not good to drive out there period. weve almost run into a few vehicles as we come flying around the corner on our bikes. best bet, stick to gm and the canal banks for the time being.

agree with uchi, i ride out there all the time and atvs and dirtbikes are a threat on their own, not to mention all the little kids out there for the 8x12. i helped run it last year working at Liberty and theres a race dedicated to little kids, and theres alot of them, not to mention the main event for adults is packed

I've seen a no trespassing sign there. It looked pretty battered though. Needless to say I went on in and found a fucking community of tents and hobo's
